Roasted Corn and other delights. Family fun, food, music and Fun & Games for all Ages!!! Corn provided by Hauser & Hauser Farms; Verde Valley Rangers Beer Garden.
Also, Golden Cobra Boxing Presents: 6th Annual Cornfest Boxing Championships, inside the Community Center Gym (Boxing Admission – Adults $12 – Kids $5 – Family Pack $25).

Of the festivals hosted in the Verde Valley, this one is my favorite. It has the most heart! My son, Levi, won the corn shucking contest (yippee) and lost the corn eating contest TO A GIRL. He didn't even place in the corny joke telling contest, it was that bad, lol. The music is fantastic! The roasted corn is ta die for. Everyone has a good time whether they participate or just observe. There is a feeling of community at this event that is unparrelled by any of the others.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time - we missed it this year - had something come up at the last minute that prevented us from going - would have liked to have heard Levi's corny jokes! Congrats on his shucking win! This is really a great festival - our other favorite is Fort Verde Days - we love to go to the bullriding! Can't wait!!
