On January 24, 2009, Yoga Day USA will be at the Healing Arts Center at Fourth and Main St. in Old Town Cottonwood from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
There will be eight local yoga teachers giving free classes throughout the day, as well as four hours of videos of famous teachers. Carol Oveross, who teaches the Mommy & Me Yoga Class on Thursdays, is organizing the event.
If you've never tried yoga or think you can't do it, here is your chance to learn more about it. There will be classes for all levels of fitness, ability, and experience.

All classes and videos are free, but donations are gratefully accepted and will go to benefit the Yoga Alliance, a national organization that certifies yoga teachers and training programs.
